FMC — Find My Certificate — exists to make Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) understandable and accessible for tradespeople and workers across Australia who already have the skills, just not the paperwork.
Many experienced tradespeople and workers have spent years building real, demonstrable skill on the job — but never completed the formal study that would let them prove it on paper. Recognition of Prior Learning exists precisely for this situation: a formal, government-regulated assessment pathway within Australia’s vocational education system that lets your existing experience be assessed against a nationally recognised qualification.
FMC helps you understand whether that pathway is likely to fit your experience, guides you through gathering the evidence an assessor will need, and connects you with a partner Registered Training Organisation (RTO) for the formal assessment. We are not an RTO ourselves, and a qualification does not automatically grant a state trade licence — your state or territory regulator makes that decision separately.
